The CMA oversees mutual funds, hedge funds, and other collective investment schemes operating in Cyprus.
Investment funds must be registered with the CMA before being offered to investors. The registration process requires submission of a prospectus, fund documentation, and details of the fund's investment strategy and risk management approach.
